PREMIER’S READING CHALLENGE                 URGENT REMINDER

Thank you to all students and parents who have completed the Student Reading logs for this year’s PRC. To date we have 102 completed entries which have been validated, out of 155 registered participants. Well done!!!!!

As we are having the Book Fair in the last week of August, I would like to have all PRC validations completed by THURSDAY 20th AUGUST, so please remind your children of their responsibilities in completing their reading logs as soon as possible.

A “CONGRATULATIONS” message will appear on the reading log screen when each student reaches the correct number of books. If this message does not appear it means that the requirements have not been fulfilled and a certificate cannot be awarded.

Thank you again to all parents for your wonderful support of this rewarding program.

JOIN FORCES AND WIN CAMPAIGN.

The “Join Forces and Win” campaign promotes fruit and veg in our canteen and offers each student the opportunity to win great prizes.

Each time a child purchases a fruit or veg item from the canteen, they received a “Join Forces and Win” sticker card.

The sticker card has 2 stickers, 1 is a large sticker for the kids to keep and the other is a token sticker which must be stuck on the entry form.

When the students make 4 fruit or veg purchases from the canteen, they can fill out the entry form and return it to the canteen. They will then be given a kids finger projector as their prize.  There are 5 different projectors to win.

I will send all completed entry forms away on Friday, 4th September to go into the major prize draw.

The major prizes are:

-          a guest film reviewer role of Disney’s G-Force.

-          3 Nintendo Wii Consoles + G-Force video game

-          5 Disney DVD packs

-          15 G-Force prize packs

-          20 Disney CD packs

Some items that can be purchased from our canteen which receive a sticker card are:
