Fete Update,
Everyone enjoys a last minute challenge, trust me we have had a few this past
week leading up to our FETE
Due to quantity of Armbands sold, we have to modify the rides available on the
day,
The rides will be ChaCha, Dodgems, Crazy Cars, Superslide and Nemo Jumping
Castle.
Should the weather make the grounds unsuitable for rides, they will be
postponed to a future (sunny day) date, your Ride Armbands still be valid for
then.
The rest of the Fete will still go ahead!!!
So please come along have lunch and enjoy the market stalls, performances and
support your Class Stall.

ENJO FUNDRAISER for
ENJO is microfibre-cleaning using just water. To find out more about how to
save water, time, money, and your health, book a time before the end of June
2009 for your local Independent ENJO Consultant to show you ENJO in your own
home. As a fundraiser for our school, ENJO will give 10% of sales in the form
of a cheque to Wideview Public. A further 10% of your consultant's commission
will also be donated to Wideview Public, yielding a total of 20% of total sales
earned from Wideview's ENJO Fundraiser. Look out for the ENJO flyers at the YR
1 Handmade Craft Stall at our school fete. There will be a booking sheet
available there. Alternatively you can ring Eunice Warren (1A and 3N class
parent) on 9456 7778 for more details.
Enjo has donated a wonderful raffle prize to the fete of products to the value
of $100. In conjunction with the fete they are fundraising through June for the
school. Please support this and book a party.

PAYMENT OF ACCOUNTS

Money
should be returned in the school envelope provided with each excursion note,
clearly marked with your child’s:

and the excursion/event for which you are paying.
The
permission note in most cases is now on the back of the money envelope, which
is provided for your convenience. Please ensure that this permission note is
fully completed and signed, noting any allergies or other concerns that might
affect your child’s participation on the excursion.
Children may not attend excursions without
the written consent of the parents or guardians.
Please
note that it is permissible for money to be sent in one envelope for all
children in the family, as long as it is marked with each child’s name and
class and indicates clearly the excursion or event being paid for. For example:

If
you do choose to enclose payments for different children in the same envelope, it is most important that you return a separate
permission note for each child. This separate permission note must
go to the child’s individual class teacher, not to the school office.
If
a separate permission note is required, please do not place these permission
notes inside the money envelope.
Some
parents prefer to pay directly at the office if a large amount of cash is involved. If you do so, please
ensure that the office person receiving the money, writes on the
Permission Slip that the money has been paid at the office. The class teacher
will then know to mark your child’s name off on his or her list. This saves any
embarrassment for the child.
If
one child brings the money, please mark on each permission note to which
class the money has been paid.
All
cheques (unless otherwise directed), should be made payable to “
A
receipt will be issued for every amount received, regardless of the amount, and
sent home with your child. Please check your child’s bag regularly to ensure
you receive these receipts. The amount received in the envelope by the office
will be the amount receipted - this
will enable you to check the correct amount has been paid, and also enable you to keep a record of payment.
Remember the most
important things are:
·
Sign separate permission notes for
each of your children.
·
Send the separate permission note to
each child’s teacher so his or her name can be marked off on the teacher’s
list.
·
If you need help ring 9456 1655, and
we will be happy to assist.
Eftpos facilities
are now available. If you wish to use
the swipe facility please come to the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays before
11.30am. If you are unable to attend on
these days, please send along a form (available from the office), with the
relevant details and these will be processed on the following Tuesday/Thursday. Please note this option is available for
credit card holders only.
We also offer
payment by instalment if this will help with your budget. If you wish to take advantage of this offer,
please contact the office to make appropriate arrangements.
If you have any further queries please do not
hesitate to contact the school office.
